What is spending pace?
It compares what you’ve spent with what you’d planned to spend by today. SpendApp spreads your budget evenly over the days to payday, so “$100 under” means you’ve spent $100 less than planned so far.
How does SpendApp help my money last until payday?
It shows your pace every time you add a purchase. If you’re spending faster than planned, you see it early, while there’s still time to slow down.
How does SpendApp show I’m spending too fast?
Your pace turns orange, like “$50 over pace”. That means you’ve spent $50 more than planned by today.
Does SpendApp show a daily spending limit?
No, on purpose. A daily limit can feel like money you have to spend. SpendApp shows your pace instead, so spending less always counts.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. You add your purchases yourself.
Does leftover money carry over?
No. Each new spending period starts fresh.
Is it free?
